I am mainly talking about advertising right now, but I'll be working on sharing more different stuffs soon...
For now, as seen in Ads of the world's best, here are some very good advertising I would like to share.
The first one is for Volkswagen (again!) - nothing really new here but still very funny and very well produced:
The second one is a Carlton Draught TVC.
Quite a long time after the sucess of "big ad", the beer is coming back with a very nice video. Very well produced, not
exactly in slow motion. I don't know much about cameras and filming but it must be a very high def shooting...
Lastly, after TV, here is a great online campaign you HAVE to try!
I know this is still for Volkswagen but these guys are going amazing stuff with all their agencies.

Here is a very provocative spot from PCRM, the nonprofit health organization, fighting against heart disease and to link it with fast food - Mc Donald's amongst others.
This kind of advertising could only exist in the US! A new hard blow for the firm which is actively working (with massive media buying) on giving a better and healther image of th company... at
least in France!

This is a nice documentary produced by the agency Mother NY for the famous beer "Stella Artois".
More than an ad, the agency produced a real documentary to promote the brand. This is truly innovative advertising...from old fashion advertising!
Also, whaterver the subject is, "old fashion" and "good old times" are pretty trendy now!

Back to very first way to advertise products: demonstration!
Yes, a good demonstration that speaks for itself is always better any jokes/claims/promo/whaterve.... No doubt that Google succeeds in this exercice with the following video.

Finally!
I am now back after a few weeks of vacations, new city, new job: new life!
I don't know how much time I'll have to spend here and post new things, but I'll do my best to keep it updated!
So let's start with the brand new Mini TV campaign to launch its "Countryman" model. The spot is pretty impressive technically speaking. Nothing really
spectacular or innovative on the script though.
On a different subject, I am happy to share with you one of my favourite songs of the moment: "Any which way" from Scissor Sisters (actually the entire album is great; I
also love "Fire with Fire" but the video clip isn't that good..)

We've all seen this hilarious but affecting video of that guy, true fan of nature and flatlands crying in front of a double
rainbow vision in Yosemite Park (US):
The video generated a huge buzz on the web.
It is easy to make fun of that guy (and many people did!) so I won't talk about the different remixes(!) and even the
song(!!) but just how a brand, VW for instance, took this opportunity to create a short video for its GTI Golf.
I bet the video will also generate huge buzz as it's hilarious.... if you've seen the Yosemite one
before!
Cheap and smart!! (but so stupid!!) I love it!

Here is an Australian ad from the agency M&C Saatchi, Sydney celebrating Optus' involvement with Australian football.
It really looks like a Nike ad: same dark background, secret game, spectacular etc...
really well done.

Even if I don't really like the video clip, I am a big fan of the song.
